Despite the D scaling in Arcane, the damage gain is comparable to Dex but splits more into Fire. In addition, more arcane increases bleed build up. In summary, this weapon is reasonably viable on a pure Dex or pure Arcane build.

Corpse Piler has the same animation with Double Slash, but has longer range and adds more Bleed Build-Up. Rivers of Blood is essentially one of the best Weapon for Elden Ring Blood Build.

Corpse Piler deals both Physical and Fire Damage.

As of Patch 1.08, Katanas’ poise damage has been reduced in PVP. This is mostly due to the popularity of Elden Ring Bleed Build with Katana.

Blasphemous blade vs Rivers of blood

Blasphemous Blade – A boss weapon that scale with Faith. Blasphemous Blade weapon skill also heal and add Bleed Damage, but it does not really scale with a Bleed Build.
