Review
  • Get Drunk, Get High, become a Superstar, oh there is an ongoing murder as well.
    9.5Total Score

A mix between classic Point & Click Adventure with Tabletop RPG elements, Disco Elysium tells the story of an alcoholic detective who forgot all of his past after a hangover episode.

If you are a fan of classic RPG games and love to go through a deep, captivating world, then it is the game for you. Disco Elysium embraces a deep and original Skills Systems, but it is not used in actual combat. All of the skills & items in-game will help you navigate through conversations with other characters.

Not recommended for fans of fast-paced action. There is almost no action in this game, just a lot of dice rolling - the thing you find in classic pen & paper RPG (Or even in life if you put a lot of points to Conceptualization)

    Final cut version notes:
    - All the thoughts are now voice-over
    - Additional content for political themes quest.

Some of the weak points of Disco Elysium (mostly technical issues, founded on PS4 Pro)

    - Technical issue on PS4 (Even for the Final Cut version, there are some crashes to the home screen) Mostly happens when you try to Save/ Load a lot.
    - Lot of loading screens for simple traversal between area (Not an issue with PS5 SSD or on PC, but it's a pain for last-gen consoles)
    - Occasionally bug out on Save on PS4 (Cannot create new save)
